HP TouchPad webOS 3.0 finally officially announced, WebOS tablet has a 9.7-inch screen, 1.3 megapixel camera front, and comes in 16 or 32GB model. HP TouchPad webOS 3.0 runs on Snapdragon processor 1.2GHz processor and has a screen resolution of 1024 × 768ppx. HP also includes Beats Audio technology with internal stereo speakers. The tablet has been designed by “hundreds of talented programmers” in team WebOS, and the touchpad is the second tablet from HP, the first is the HP Slate 500.

Touchpad is a baby Palm CEO Jon Rubinstein. WebOS suffered a massive decline in Palm’s when the company sold nine months ago and all the hard work of Palm’s team seemed in vain. However, the touchpad shows a new direction for the Palm company in which “card” WebOS unique interface seems very suitable for the tablet form factor.

HP TouchPad webOS 3.0 supports multi-tasking and Flash. The tablet also comes with Quickoffice and supports Google Docs, Dropbox and Box.net for file storage cloud as well as support for HP Wireless Printer. Touchpad Tablet can also use Skype for video calls.

The size of the touchpad is almost exactly the same size as the iPad today, as a comparison. This HP tablet device will run all the standard PIM applications WebOS including an excellent mail application from the Palm. Touchpad also supports Flash so that all your favorite website (which uses Flash) will work seamlessly.
